Magnesium is present inside all our cells and is involved in over 300 enzymatic reactions, making it essential for the proper functioning of our body. More than half is concentrated in our bone tissue.
Magnesium deficiency rates in the French population were estimated at nearly 70% between the early 1990s and 2000, and it remains one of the main deficiencies in our societies. To meet our daily requirements for this mineral, the European Food Safety Authority (EFSA) has set adequate daily intakes at 300 mg for women and 380 mg for men.
Many factors related to our lifestyles and habits have a very significant influence on our magnesium needs and our difficulty in absorbing it from our diet, notably:
A magnesium deficiency is recognized by a drop in energy, recurring fatigue, sensitivity to stress, or low morale. Our brain functions, nervous system, and muscular systems can be affected. Problems with our connective tissues are common (skin, bones, cartilage, tendons, ligaments, etc.).
Magnesium absorption is difficult. Indeed, our body uses different means to assimilate the magnesium we ingest: Active absorption: magnesium is transported across cell membranes in the terminal part of the small intestine by specific transporters. Passive absorption: magnesium crosses between the cells of the intestinal wall all along the small intestine, a process influenced by its concentration in the gut.
Alternating and varying the most assimilable sources of magnesium makes it possible to take advantage of the different magnesium absorption channels: different forms of magnesium are absorbed through different channels. Variation can help maximize overall absorption. Certain forms may be better tolerated or more effective depending on the individual. Combining different forms helps avoid the saturation of a single absorption channel.
This is why Djform now offers several forms of magnesium, featuring high digestive tolerance and among the most assimilable currently known. We recommend alternating the intake of these different forms of magnesium.
Djform recommends a magnesium cure for the reduction of fatigue, the nervous system, and the maintenance of your bones and teeth. We advise you to alternate the different forms of magnesium proposed with a 1.5-month cure for each product, and then repeat.
The EFSA lists 10 authorized health claims concerning magnesium*. Notably, it contributes:
Furthermore, the EFSA authorizes certain health claims for vitamin B6*, including:
Finally, the EFSA authorizes various health claims for phosphorus*, notably:

All proposed forms of magnesium are particularly bioavailable, and thus very easily assimilable by the body. They also boast good digestive tolerance.
Magnesium is offered pure or with co-factors that increase its assimilation potential, without unnecessary additives.

The "HPMC plant-based capsule" is only plant-based in name! Behind a marketing facade, the HPMC plant-based capsule actually contains chemical residues. To always offer you the highest quality products possible, DJFORM uses pullulan capsules, suitable for vegetarian, vegan, and plant-based diets. Instead of indigestible wood cellulose for HPMC-type plant-based capsules, pullulan capsules are food products made from tapioca starch that our bodies are able to digest.
