With the advent of screens, we live in a world where it is essential to protect our eyes from the damage that blue light emitted by them can cause. Furthermore, with age, our vision is increasingly exposed to eye diseases, such as age-related macular degeneration (AMD). Omega-3s and antioxidants therefore become a bulwark that nourishes and protects our eyes.

The Vision Plus Djform complex is a synergy of powerful natural antioxidants for eye protection. Lutein and zeaxanthin, beneficial for the lens and retina of the eye (especially at the macula, responsible for our central vision), are essential constituents of the eye's macular pigment, right at the heart of the retina, from the carotenoid family. “AMD is the leading cause of visual impairment in people over 50. The disease affects nearly one in 5 people over 80. Furthermore, DHA is involved "in the prevention of age-related macular degeneration”* as their deficit can increase the risk of this degeneration.

The Vision Plus complex contains marigold extract standardized to 10% Lutein and 25% Zeaxanthin, reinforced with bilberry, containing anthocyanins (a family of flavonoids), compounds with powerful antioxidant and regenerative properties that help fight against free radicals and notably the aging of our eyes.

Our OPC product is a combination of two high-quality extracts, maritime pine standardized to 95% proanthocyanidins and Landes maritime pine OPC extracted from high-quality bark from the French brand Oligopin®. The advanced manufacturing process of the latter allows an optimal concentration of Oligo-proanthocyanidins (OPC), over 67%, making it one of the most purified pine bark extracts on the market.

Due to the high sensitivity of omega-3s to oxidation, extraction processes are paramount to guarantee oil of irreproachable quality. This is the case for our Omega-3 DHA. The process from the Epax® label is implemented in Aalesund, Norway, where the oil is manufactured. The fish arrive directly in Norway where the oil is extracted at low temperature and purified to guarantee its quality. The Epax® process indeed guarantees marine omega-3 concentrates committed to high quality, sustainability, traceability, safety, and purity. Today it represents the pinnacle of quality in terms of Omega-3. The XO® process is implemented in France during the encapsulation of the omega-3 oil. This process today guarantees purity criteria superior to GOED standards (global consortium of omega-3 producers) and superior to European regulatory standards:

• oils of high purity, highly concentrated in omega-3 DHA (and very low in saturated fatty acids, the "bad" fats).

The ocean off Peru and Chile is a cold sea, contrary to what one might think, because of the ring of fire, at the level of the Peru-Chile trench, which brings up icy water loaded with nutrients from the depths.
  
  
• preservation of marine resources: Epax® oils are Friend of the Sea certified. This label guarantees environmentally and socially responsible fishing: sustainable and well-managed fishing zones, ecological methods, health and safety standards for workers, testing of fishing samples for traceability, etc.
